Hello Chobots!

Today I have a lot of exiting news for you!
Let's start from the amazing new updates that our Developers made.

Have you seen the cool new main page? The 'Chobots' logo at the top is now aqua blue.
The 'Play Now' button is also aqua blue. The 'Official blog' button is white, and the 'Become a Chobot' button is dark aqua blue. At the bottom of the page, under the buttons, there is a small "isle" of snow. There is a blue tree there, and a snowman near it.


After clicking the "Play Now" button and logging in, as always, the servers selection window will open.
As you can see, the color of the server bars has been changed to blue.


While you are loading, take a look at the loader. The shirt that the chobot on the loader got is now light purple, and his hair color is now brown.


After entering the game, go to any location. You can see that the colors of the trees are now a bit lighter.


We've also got a couple of changes to the user-interface.
The citizens' only shortcut buttons colors have been changed- the 'wardrobe' button is green now, the 'color shower' button is blue now, and the 'robot configurator' button is now purple.


The color of the 'History', 'Send message' and 'Picture chat' buttons have been changed from orange to very nice light blue.


The $hop has been updated with some cool new items!
The teddy bear, egyptian magic, vintage wings, rose, medieval knight, and the vayer suit are now in the $hop. You can also buy the Chlos body, tv-agent body and star body. You can also purchase chat bubbles - fusion, gia blue, and watermelon. If you didn't know, we got 3 new player cards too - galaxy playercard, flames playercard, and BlueGreen playercard.

My favorite one are the Vintage Wings, they look stylish and very cool!

In other news, two great moderators have resigned, unfortunately, and they are no longer a part from the Chobots team. Chloe and Nathan were great moderators, and we will never forget them.
On the bright side, Chloe has joined the Agents team, and she is an agent now!

The $hop items panel has also been updated. Since there is a new playercard (the galaxy playercard), it has been added to the $hop items panel.


And now for some mystery. The cafe Street is now officially 'Under Construction'! Hmm, I wonder what happened there.

No one knows what's happening 'behind the scenes', but I sure am eager to find out!
Maybe the Cafe Street will be changed, perhaps the Cafe will get a new cool look...? No one knows.
What I do know is that when the time comes and Cafe Street is opened again, Chobots Help will be the first to post about the new updates!

Also, you may have noticed that this blog was a bit inactive in the past few weeks.
We are very sorry for that, and I can tell you that some big things are going to be on this blog in the next few weeks. Here is a message from Yaniv:

Hi Chobots!

I hope New Years was awesome for all of you. Chobots has been rejuvenated with cool updates and features!

To begin, the Chobots Team introduced new perks for Journalists. They have received a purple colored name tag  so you can recognize the Journalist much easier! What a nice shade.

Moving on, Cholevel stars are back to the playercards once again! The star tells you what level a user is.
The star is located on the bottom right of the playercard.

For Journalists the star is located in the same place, except on the top right corner of the Journalist badge.

Next, the $hop items window design has been updated greatly! The window is a nicely decorated room with a cool galaxy background. The $hop items are nicely placed in areas around the room and coordinate with the festive Chobots having fun in the room. Also, when you change your playercard or chat bubble, it is no longer required to refresh the page! That will help save some extra time.

Another page design update that has currently happened is the Trackers page. The page looks nice, sleek and very easy to use. You simply type the name of the Chobot you need and the page provides a preview of the Chobots' playercard and code down below.

Furthermore, new server names have been picked and the names are Firework, Metropolis and Atlantis. These are some really cool names. Congrats to the users who suggested these names for the server poll.

If you haven't got the chance to snatch up some cool items, then you should check out the new January Citizenship items! I really like the Staff 'n Snake. What's really cool is if you purchase the 12 month plan you receive all 4 items!

In addition, Chobots has removed some of the Christmas decorations in the Cafe St. The big Christmas tree has been taken down as well as the stockings and the presents around the Cafe. The snowman has lost his hat too.

Coming to a close, there has been some changes in the staff of Chobots. First, Chloe is no longer a Moderator and has become one of the Agents. Welcome to the Agent team, Chloe!

Also a new Moderator has joined Chobots. Her name is Sheridan. If you see her around, you should give her a big welcome! Welcome to the Staff team, Sheridan and congrats on the job.
