Summer Beach Party!
Hello Chobots and happy summer!
The summer is finally here! I like the summer; you can eat watermelons, don't go to school, go on different trips and obviously go to the beach! That is why the Chobots team is going to host a beach party later today (Friday, May 31st), at 20:30 (8:30 PM) Cho-time.
We still don't know how are we going to get to the beach. A few months ago, the beach was on the map, located between the academy street and the missions street. Only time can tell.
Don't forget to wear your summer outfits! The team will be looking for the best outfits, and the winners will be awarded with some prizes! Check out Spencer's outfit, he is definitely ready to the party:

Marketing Tips
Hey guys, Art again!
You probably heard about the new auctions house - the market. I decided to give you some tips that might help you to get lots of bugs there!
First off, don't make your auction over priced, then nobody would want it! Users that want the item won't be able to purchase it because it is so expensive.
But don't make the auction too cheap because then once it sells, you won't get that many bugs. I suggest that you make the price of the auction the same as the Average.
Next, go onto Chobots and tell all of your friends and a full room about your new auction!

Interview with Mike!
Hello everyone! I'm sure many of you have met Mike, one of our authors. He is very active in the community, he's friendly, and he can be a bit crazy at times! Well, tonight, Mike let me interview him.Q. When did you first start playing Chobots and how did you hear about it?
A. I've been around Chobots since Chobots.com beta. I heard about the game from Mimo because back in the day, I was a very big Club Penguin fan.
Q. Oh, that's awesome! What is your dream position on Chobots and why?
A. I'd like to further my Chobots experience and become a Moderator. I think I'd be able to handle it and I love the community and I think being on the staff would definitely expand my experience.
Q. That is a wonderful goal! I'm sure you would make a great Moderator. What is your favorite thing about Chobots?
A. Thanks. I mostly like getting to spend time with the community and just getting to know everyone a bit more. Chobots is like a family, and what good is family if you don't know who you're spending your time with?
Q. That is a very valid point! I agree. If you could change something about Chobots, what would you change?
A. I would change the reporting system. Sometimes when you go to report someone, what you're reporting them for isn't on there. This has been suggested during many meetings and still hasn't been changed. Perhaps adding an "Other" tab in the report screen would make it easier for the Moderators to understand the report reason.
Q. That is a very good suggestion! I have noticed that as well. A Chobot player will be breaking a rule that is clearly on the list of rules, yet there is no option to report them for that! This would be a very helpful feature. Moving on, what is your favorite item on Chobots?
Well, that's a hard question. I don't really have a favorite one considering new items get implanted into the game every once in a while. But, if I had to chose it would either be the teddy bear item from the Premium Shop, or the Rockstar Hair. I've collected five of them and I love them.
Q. Those are both very cute items! Who do you look up to on Chobots?
A. I look up to anyone who started as an Agent and is now on the staff; Koiz, Yaniv, Coby and Maya. They've all proven themselves so much, and have worked so hard that they were promoted to Moderator. They're perfect examples of why you should never give up on your dream because dreams do happen. They just take time.
Q. That is very true. They all started just as agents and worked extremely hard and now look at them! They are wonderful examples of what hard work and dedication can really take you!
Okay, final question. What do you see in the future of Chobots?

A. Seeing that Daniel has returned to Chobots, I'm sure there's going to be plenty more new users, hopefully some new partnerships, magic/animations, and locations. The possibilities are endless!
I agree! I see many new players in the future and I am sure Chobots is going to continue to grow and become more popular!

Smoochict's Return: News & Updates - May 25th
Hello Chobots,
For our first news update I am very happy to announce Smoochict has returned! Smoochict helped Chobots.net since the beginning, he was featured on one of the very first posts on the Main Blog.
Smoochict, also known as Daniel left the team a few months ago to focus on other things, but now he is back as a developer and an administrator.
Also, in other news we have our Palm Painting contest results. The Palm Painting contest opened last Saturday immediately after Game Night and lasted two days. After a hard competition, with lots of colorful trees all over Chobots we finally have our winners.
In First Place, we have Cindy winning a First Place Medal, 5,000 Bugs and two weeks of Citizenship.
In Second Place, Jayoo won a Second Place Medal, 4,000 Bugs and one week of Citizenship.
Lastly, in Third Place we have Victorious winning a Third Place Medal, 3,000 Bugs, and four days of Citizenship.
Congratulations to our three winners and to everyone who participated in the contest! Thanks to all of you the entire Chobots world is now very colorful and bright.
Finally to conclude this News and Updates post we have new clothing added to the shops!
Eight items were added to the shops. Some old favorites re-appeared, including the CD Board, Butterfly Wings, Chinese Hat, and Smiley Cho Costume. While also, some other great items returned. All of these awesome items can help you create an awesome style or maybe help you win a Fashion Show.

Sunday Updates: News and Updates May 19th
Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, the weekend is now coming to an end. Still, there are many fun updates, a contest, and a party!
To start with, there is a fun Palm Painting Contest going on right now! The Chobots team wanted the city to look more colorful, and that is why they need your help to color all the trees around the game.
You have until Monday, May 20th to try and get on the top 3 in the leader board. Winners will receive some awesome prizes! And remember, do not cheat.
Another wonderful update is we have a new featured player! His name is Soccer, and he is the new featured player of this week.
Congratulations Soccer for making it as the featured player! You now are going to be featured on the Main Blog and on your News in-game!
Finally, we are going to have a fun Citizen's Party. As many of you are aware of, Citizenship has many benefits. Well, one of my favorite benefits is the fun parties we get to attend!

Picking a Style
Hey guys,
Are you having trouble with choosing colors for your outfits? That's why I'm here to help you!
I have found a good way to combine a few colors together, in this case 3 colors, into 1 good outfit!
First off, you need a good color hair (I prefer Brown, Blonde or Black. Next, you need to use your 3rd color as a hat and your 2nd main color for an accessory. I used the headphones.
Next, your shirt and neck item! I like using a scarf and an awesome shirt! For this I used a 1st place medal and a white shirt.
Next is your lower torso area. I chose red pants and yellow and white shoes. You can use anything but I prefer if the pants match the neck item and the shoes match the shirt.
Lastly, your accessories! I like using wings, they go good with every outfit. Try to match your wings to your pants and scarf, I used Flame wings. Hand items also go perfect with outfits, find something that has at least 1 of the 3 colors in it and use it, I used a rose.
Now you have a PERFECT outfit that uses all 3 of your favorite colors!

Meet Agent Q: News & Updates - May 10th.
Hello Chobots,
Recently on the wonderful world of Chobots, users have been going crazy and scattering all over the map trying to find Agent Q's satellites.
Who Is Agent Q?Agent Q is a scientist at the Chobots Agency who is working on a space exploration. But, there's a problem! Q and his crew are far too busy testing the communication systems, and needs our help to activate the five satellite dishes spread around Chobots.
But here's the catch - They're under an invisible cloak so you need to put in some extra effort and scroll around your screen looking for these satellites.
Where Can I Find Agent Q?
Agent Q can be found inside of the Home Dome! If you're trouble finding the Home Dome - Click your map, then Home Shop in the left hand corner.
As mentioned above, this quest is not like any of the past quests we have seen before on the world of Chobots. You have to search all over the map at different locations, searching for these satellites.How Do I Know If I Found One?
While searching through the different locations around Chobots, you might come across the Chobots loading mouse cursor, which is the gears. Once you see these, you need to click and then a little satellite will appear. Now remember, your goal is to try and collect all five so it's going to take you a while to complete, but in the end it will be all worth it.What Do I Get For Completing This Quest?
After completing Agent Q's quest, you will receive this sweet yellow unicycle! Not many people have completed the quest yet due to it's high difficulty, so why not give it a try. Who knows, may you will be one of those lucky users to get your hands on it before everyone else.

A Guide To Picking A Username
Hello,Chobots!
Well, I'm currently accepting any requested guides that are asked to be done, and one of them was a "guide to picking a username" requested by the official Chobots Twitter. So here it is!
In picking a username there's a lot of aspects too look at, such as;
- Is it interesting?
- Is it memorable?
- Does it express you?
- Does it have a back story to it?
Let me explain
Is It Interesting?
Your name has to be interesting, not something dull and boring.For example, my name, MrSandbox is odd, not many people have a name with a title with it (Mr/Mrs/Miss) so it gives it a unique factor. Also 'Sandbox' is something alot of people wouldn't think of when picking a username.
Is It Memorable?
Your name has to be memorable, people need to know who you are. They need to remember your name so it sticks in there head. For instance, the name 'Koiz' is very memorable. Even before she became a moderator everybody knew her, this was due to 2 things;
- She was a agent and had worked to get a good reputation
- She picked a interesting and memorable name
So in short, out of all the 4 things I think are needed. This is the most important.
Does it express you?
This is a hard one to explain. Your name needs to express your personality, for instance, take my old friend 'Smileguy', Smileguy was a very kind and happy person. He was always smiling and always happy. So the name Smileguy expressed his personality perfectly.
Does It have a backstory to it?
Your name needs to have meaning, it needs to have a story. Take my name for instance, this is the story of how I got my name.
My Chobot's Username is MrSandbox. I got this name from a game I used to play called Counter Strike:Source there was a modification called Sandboxx. That's where I got my name from.That explains how my name came to be. If somebody asks you why you picked that name, you need to know why.
So the above show you what it needs to have, but if your mind is completely blank, lets look at some other ways.
- Name your chobot after your pet.
- Name your Chobot after a Pokemon character
- Name your Chobot after a teddy bear
- Name your Chobot after a film character
A lot of chobots decide to name their Chobot after their pets. For instance, my friend Monty got his name from the name of his cat.
Pokemon names are unique and will be original and un thought of. I currently use the name of a Pokemon as the name on a different website, 'Loki' is the name I use.
A lot of users decide to name their Chobot after a teddy bear they've had their whole life.This was my original intention, as my teddy bear was a snow man called 'Chilly' but the name had already been taken.
Naming your Chobot after a film character can be very effective. But do not go for a main character, go for a noticeable, yet not main Character. For instance, In the movie 'The Avengers' There are lots of main characters such as
- The Hulk
- Captain America
- Iron Man
- Thor
Yet there's characters who play a part that're noticeable, but not a main character such as
- Hawk
- Loki
- The Tesseract (Although it's not a character, it's a memorable object and completes one of the 4 tasks above)
So yeah, that's my guide to picking a username.

Style Hunt!
Hey Chobots!
MrSandbox here, and I've been on a Style Hunt! I've been out and about the Chobots world scouring for amazing styles, and wow! I've found some amazing ones. I've been particularly looking for a stylish person in each of the following statuses:
- Junior
- Citizen
- Agent
- Staff Member
So, without any further-a-do let's kick it off with our stylish Junior. Put your hands together for,EgotisticalSlug!
Wow! Just look at that rockin' style! As you can see, Ego has gone for a nature themed style with her board,antlers and mask. The cowboy suit really adds a effect, which although isn't nature themed, really makes this style stand out. As you can also see, Ego's a paintbrush owner and she isn't afraid to show it! Congratulations Ego!
Next, we have our stylish Citizen, I think you'll agree with me that his style is just outstanding! Congratulations to our Citizen winner, Independent!
Independent, you've literally left me speechless! This style is just epic. I love the fact how he's gone for a all black style! The shades of black on the wings really do add a strong effect, but to keep this whole Style nice and cheery, the deli shirt has really added it! Congratulations Independent!
Thirdly, claiming the position of stylish Agent, is our Queen of Style! Put your hands together for, Program!
Yeah, you probably all saw this coming. Program's styles are known world-wide. Program always has the perfect mix with clothes and she hasn't disappointed us here! This style is very nice following a nice and colorful theme. She has decided to go for mainly green clothes, with a nice colorful pair of wings which really blends with the strong black hair. The paintbrush really adds a stylish effect! Well done, Program!
So finally, it's time to announce the most stylish Staff-Member. I've gotta say, this was really difficult. All staff-members had rockin' styles, but after a long thought. One staff member emerged victorious! Please put your hands together for, Sheridan!
As you can see here, Sheri's style is really rockin'! There isn't really much I can say. The beautiful blend between white and red just makes this style stand out so much! I literally love it!

Chobots.com Memories: Memoir 1. Guguzi!
Hey there Cho's!
Today is the start of a brand new series starting here on ChoHelp. Chobots.com Memories. Today's first memoir will be based around the famous, Chobots.com artist, Guguzi!
Guguzi was a brilliant artist, she was a highly respected Chobot and her skills were extrodinary. She was most famous for her drawings on the Graffiti walls. Let's take a glance at some of her artwork.
Wow! Look at all of this amazing artwork! As you can see here, Guguzi was a amazing artist. Guguzi's skills varied as she could take on very detailed paintings, such as the first painting I shown you, or she can take on rather less detailed but more effective paintings such as the 2nd and 3rd paintings I shown you. A lot of you may be wondering how she could make such amazing pictures, well let's take a gander at 2 videos showing you how she made the 2nd and 3rd pictures!

As you can see, there are banners going from Magic Shop to the Shop. Also, making his first ever Chobots appearance is the person from the Chobots homepage, the mexican dude on the sun lounger. Yeah, that's his official term "The Mexican Dude On The Sun Lounger" or as I like to call him "Fred". So let's welcome "Fred" to the Chobots world. Welcome, Fred.

What's up, Kai here. Didn't post on the blog for a while, eh? Well I'm back with some news and updates!
First up, we have a couple of events starting soon. The first event is going to be a game night, today.

Tonight's Game Night will start at 11:30PM Chobots Time, today the 4th of May!
Also, we will be having another Mexican party; Cinco de Mayo, tomorrow, at the Shop Square, at 10:30pm cho time, tomorrow. You should come and have fun with us!

Also, my third to last part in my post today, the Market has been updated! Here's a quick picture before I start writing what's happened.
As you can see, the shelves has been redesigned and now look way better. Yaniv designed the shelves too!
Next up, is the new Forum theme!
As you can see, the new forum theme is now a bright blue colour, what I'm guessing is it's for Summer, seeing Summer is nice and sunny usually, and nice blue skies!
Well, that isn't all from me, I would also like to write one more thing that is today.
