Hello new users, and welcome to Chobots! 
Many of you would probably want a guide / tour about the game - all the locations, features, etc. Well, you are in the right place! Here is a guide about all the features and stuff that you need to know about the game.
When you were registering, you had to read the game rules. I'm pretty sure that most of you didn't do it, so here are the rules:

Advertising: You are not allowed to share links unless it is for a Chobots blog, or anything else that is about Chobots. If you are sharing your Chobots blog URL, you cannot say your link more than twice in a row. Saying it more than two times in a row will be considered to be spamming and is not allowed. Also, please try to say your blog without having the screen filled up by your advertisement. When you share your blog URL, remove the http:// from the link, so your message will appear.

Bad Language: Bad language is not allowed. If you wouldn't say it in front of your Mom, Dad or teacher then you shouldn't say it on Chobots. If you are caught saying bad words you will have your chat disabled for 5-15 minutes or may be kicked out. Using bad language can also lead to a ban, so don't do it. Please be respectful of other Chobots and use kind words with talking to one another.

Charities: We think it’s great that you are trying to help out each other on Chobots, but if you're going to give out gifts, please do not ask for donations. Please do not feel like you have to give gifts - no one can be 'poor' on Chobots since everyone can work hard and earn money. Also, Citizen Agents can gift people their own items. You are not allowed to ask for gifts from them too with messages like this for an example: "You gifted this Chobot something, but you didn't gift me anything. Please gift me an item too". 

Begging: Please don’t beg/ask for clothes or bugs. If you have a glitch on your account that is causing you not to be able to earn money please email support@chobots.net, or let know an online staff member, so it can be fixed. Otherwise, work hard to earn money because it is annoying to have to deal with a lot of messages a day asking for clothing. If you are caught begging you may be kicked out or have your chat disabled for 5-15 minutes.

No Dating: Chobots is not meant for online dating, so please do it somewhere else. If you see someone else dating, please make use of the report function and let the moderators know. Even if you try to date someone and you talk in a private chat, moderators can see your messages, and will punish you.

Scamming: Of course, scamming is not allowed. An example of scamming is when someone says "if you give me a smiley shirt, I will give you my shoes" even though the player has no intentions of giving away a pair shoes. The other player says yes and gives away their smiley shirt but never gets the pair of shoes in return. Scamming is also saying something like "the first person to give me a gift will get a gift" because that is just tricking people into thinking they are first. Another example of scamming is when someone says "give me your account for 30 minutes and I'll get you citizenship, and 100 rare clothes". Sharing accounts is not allowed in this game. Every Chobot got his own account. If he wants another account, he is free to register a new account. Sometimes, scammers try to blackmail you; they say stuff like "give me your account or else I'll hack you and I'll get all your passwords". This is NOT true! He just wants your account. Do not believe him. Scamming can lead to a ban, so please don't do this.

Asking to be an Agent / Moderator: Please DO NOT ask to be an Agent or Moderator because it will lower your chances of becoming one. Do you want to know how to become an Agent? Then read this guide to find out how. If you follow the requirements, we will see it and you will become an agent.

Spamming: You are not allowed to flood the the screen with big chat bubbles that say the same thing more than one time. Spamming is also when you say random stuff that make no sense like 'r6t45y7' '54y567' 'sdtgsr7'. Also, you are not allowed to say the same thing more than five times - saying the same thing more than five times will consider as spam. If you will get caught spamming, your chat will be disabled for 5-15 minutes. If were caught spamming not for the first time, you can get a 12 hours chat ban, or your chat could be disabled forever.

Playing Other Versions Of Chobots: You are not allowed to play any other versions of Chobots. Chobots.net is the only legal version of Chobots. Other versions of Chobots are illegal. If you will get involved with an illegal version of Chobots (for an example, to play the game, to become an agent there, to become a staff member there), your Chobots.net account will be banned!

If you found someone breaking the rules, don't forget to report him.
So, when you will log in to Chobots for the first time, you will see the user interface:

Here is an explanation about every button:

1. Bugs / Your Finance Report - 'Bugs' is the name of the money that Chobots use to buy stuff. The number shows your current  amount of bugs that you got (The bugs number is hidden in the picu To earn bugs, you need to play games (click here to go to the games guide), or to win contests. With bugs, you can buy clothes, furniture, magics, backgrounds, home upgrades, etc. When you click on this button, a window will open with your finance report.
    a. The number of the bugs that you have earned.
    b. The number of the bugs that you have spent.
    c. If you invite people to the game and they earn money, you can see the amount of bugs that they
    have earned.
    d. When you invite someone to the game and he earns money, you get a bonus of 7% of his bugs that he earned.
    e. The number of your Cho-Energy in total.
    f. This is the invite-a-friend window. When you click on it, you can read the explanation about the
    invites and about the bugs bonus. If you didn't write the name of the person that invited you to the
    game, you can write his name there.
   
    g. My Cho Energy - When you click on this button you will see your Cho-Energy progress; Your level, your level's title, your total amount of cho-energy, how much cho do you need to level up, and the next item that you will get when you level up 4 more levels. You can earn Cho-energy by playing games, winning contests, etc.
   
    h. Click on the 'Okay' Button to close this window.
2. Status - This is your current status on Chobots. As you can see, my status says 'Agent', because I'm an agent. If you just joined Chobots, your status will be 'Junior'. If you will buy citizenship, your status will be 'Citizen'. If you are a staff member, your status will be the name of your job; 'Moderator', 'Developer', 'Support', 'Designer'. There is also a special title; 'Ninja'. You can get this title by being an active buyer on the $hop (The money shop).
3. Cho-Time - The game got its own timezone (GMT + 0), so if you need to check the Cho-Time, now you can do it easily in a faster way.
4. Messages - When someone private chats you or sends you a message, you will see this letter at the top left screen. When you click on the letter, a small window opens near it, with the names of the Chobots that messages you. If you will hover with your mouse on his/her name, you will see the message. If you want to reply, you click no the name, and you will see the message in a new window. Click on reply, write a message and click on 'send'. The user will get the message and will be able to reply to it.
   The part about the private chatting, will be on number 11 - The Friends List.
   
5. Academy Tips - When you will click on it, a window will open. The window contains some interesting information about stuff on earth. This information can help you to answer to Choproff's questions.
6. Menu - All the game setting are here. Click on the button to open the window.
   
   
   Here is a simple explanation about everything in this window:
   a. Close button. Press on this button to close the window.
   b. Sound volume. Manage the volume for the sounds in-game.
   c. Music volume. Manage the volume for the music in-game.
   d. To see a Chobot's name, you need to hover with your mouse on him. Tick this with a V, and all the names of all the Chobots will be under their Chobot.
   e. Accept all incoming messages. If you remove the V, people won't be able to add you as a friend, invite you to places, and private chat you (if they are not your friends).
   f. If you got your tracker in your blog, it should say 'Online Now!' when you are online. If you choose to share location, it will say your location too. 'Online now at the Cafe Street'.
   g. Graphics quality. Choose the quality that you want to play with. I suggest you to use the low quality for laggy parties and stuff.
   h. Language of the game. You can switch the language to Deutsch.
   i. Change your password.
   
7. Secret button for agents only.
8. Help / Tips - This is the help window. Snailchob the snail will help you if you need any help. Just click on the button, and the help window will show up. If you change locations, he will say something different, to help you with the stuff around the game.
   
9. Citizen Shortcuts - If you're a citizen, you'll see this button. If you want to change your clothes or change your color but you don't want to go to your home for that, just click on the button and use the shortcuts.
   
10. Map - If you need to go to somewhere, click on this button to open the map. Choose a location, and click on it. You will go to this location. If you want to switch server, click on the arrow near 'Choose a City'.
    
11. Magics Backpack - When you buy a magic from the magic shop, it will be in your magics backpack. Click on the button and a small window will appear. Choose a magic from the magics that you got, and click on 'Use'. There are a lot of different magics. When you use one, it effects your Chobot - it can you to disappear, add an electric border, make you color-change-able, etc. Note: The magics are temporary, and will be gone after few minutes.
    
12. News / Upcoming Events - This window shows the upcoming events - updates, parties, quests, etc. Every month there are new upcoming events.
    
13. Dance - Click on this button and a small window will appear. Choose some kinds of dances, and click on dance. You can choose up to 5 different dances. Your Chobot will dance the dances that you selected. Also, There is a cool feature for citizens. Do you see the orange Chobots with the gearwheels? Click on one of them, and the dance constructor will open. Now, you will be in the first frame. Move some of your Chobot's body parts. Click on the '+' to add a new frame. When you will finish, click on 'Save'. You can also press on the '>' to see your dance. After saving it, in the dances window, press on the orange Chobot again (Where you clicked before to make the dance) and click on 'Dance'. You will dance your own dance.
    
14. Magic - This button appears only if you got a 'magic item'. When you click on this button, a window appears with a button. When you will click on the button, an animation will appear on the screen. There are a lot of kinds of different magics.
    Music - When you buy an instrument from the shop, and you are a Citizen, you can play music. Click on the button and a small window will appear. Choose a music kind and click on it.

15. Chat Bar - Write a message inside the chat box, and press ENTER, or click on the handle to send the message. You can click on the small circle to see the chat history. Also, there's a pictured chat. Click on the green button to open it. Then you just choose a category, and click on a picture.
    
16. Friends List - This is your friends list. If you add someone as a friend, he will be in this list. In the window of your friends list, there will be 3 tabs:
    a. This is the tab of your online friends.
    b. This is the tab of your offline friends.
    c. This is the tab of your robots team.
    d. This is the button to close the friends list.
    e. These are your online friends.
    f. This is the number of your friends.
    g. When you click on a name, a 'V' appears near it, that means that this user is selected. When you click on this button, you will send him an invitation - an invitation to your location (where you are). The user will get the invitation, and he will have to choose 'yes' or 'no' - to follow the invitation or not.
    h. Send a message to the selected user(s). Click on this button and the new message window will appear. Write a message and send it.
    i. Remove friends. If you select a user, and you click on this button, it will remove him from your friends list.
    j. Open the user's player card. Click on this button to open the user's player card. Works if only one user is selected.
    k. Select all users in the list.
17. Emoticons - The emoticons will help you to show everyone how you feel at the moment; cheerful, surprised, sad, angry, confused, etc. Click on the emoticons button, and a small window with emoticons will appear. Click on an emoticon, and it will appear above your Chobot for few seconds. Also, when you will open your player card, you Chobot's face will have the emoticon that you used.
    
18. Bodies / Chat Bubbles - Chobots got a real money shop, also known as the '$hop'. At the $hop, you can buy special clothes, bodies and chat bubbles. When you buy a chat bubble or a body, click on the button to open the bodies / chat bubbles window. Choose a body and / or a chat bubble, and then you will have it.

19. Home - If you want to go to your home, press on that button. You will be teleported to your home.
20. Family - If a Chobot made another account with the same email, the 2nd Chobot becomes his "family". Click on this button to see your family (Accounts on the same email). Also, if you registered as a 18+ years old, you will be able to manage the other accounts - if their status will be 'parent', if their chat will be full, or pictured, and if they would be able to play or not. He can also see The account's play time.
    

When you will play, you will see different cursors around the game.

Here's a small description about every cursor:

1. Pick something. Example: In the cow mission, you pick stuff.
2. Go to a location. When you will hover with your mouse on some places, you will see this cursor. That means that it's a way to another location.
3. Action can't be done. That means that you can't do this action.
4. Do something. Click on something to do something with it. Example: Click on the color balls and then throw a ball on the tree.
5. Walk. Click somewhere to walk.

Around some places on Chobots, there will be coffee tables. If you want to buy a drink, here is what you have to do:

1. Click on one of the chairs to sit on it.
2. Click on the table to open the catalog. Buy a drink (doesn't cost so much, the highest price is 15 bugs).
3. Enjoy your drink that showed up on the table.

Some games around Chobots are for more than one Chobot. If you wonder how to play in this multi player games, so first, you need to be sure that there are teleport circles in this room. Stand with some Chobots in the teleport circles (can be less than the maximum). If there's no triangle button, the game should start automatically. If there's a triangle button, that's the play button. Click on it to start the game. (If there are Chobots in all the teleport circles, the game will automatically start.

Multiplayer games are fun! I like to play Sweet Battle with friends.
Robot Configurator - When you buy a robot at the robots arena, you will be able to open the robot configurator that is located at the robots arena. Also, when you buy a robot, you get a robot configurator for your Chobots home too. At the robots configurator, you can see your robot's energy. If you loose enery in a fight, and you win, your energy automatically repairs. If you loose in a fight, you have to pay to repair your robot. The price is your robot's level x 100. You can also see how much experience you got and how much more you need to level up to the next level. If you buy any robot-items and / or special items, you can add them to your robot from there.



Create a team - There's an option to make a robots team. Every robots team can have up to 5 Chobots. If you want to buy a team, you go to the Robots arena, to the flag. A window will open. You will have to choose a color for your team, and to pay 10,000 bugs to purchase it. When you will buy the team, you will have to add people to get to the teams' leaderboard. Team-mates can't fight each other in a robots battle.

To add Chobots to your robots team, open the Chobot's player, and click on his/her robot button (Note: The Chobot needs a robot to be in a team). There should be a button under the fight button. Click on it and the Chobot will get an invitation to your team.


Team Leaderboard / Warriors Leaderboard - This is the leaderboard of the best robot-fighters. At the warriors' leaderboard, there are 100 people in the list. If you get to the top-100, you can receive a free robot-head flag. If you get to the top-10, you can receive a free purple hoodie. In the teams' leaderboard, If you get to the top-25, you can get a free robot-heads flag. If you get to the top-5, you can get a free hoodie.
Your wardrobe is the place where your clothes are. The wardrobe is located at your Chobots home.

When you will open it, you will see a normal wardrobe with clothes in it, your Chobot at the middle, a trash can, and categories. If you want to put on an item, drag an item on your Chobot. If you want to delete an item, drag it to the trash can. You will get 1/5 of the item's original price, citizens will get 2/5. The categories are:

• Hats, hairs, other head items, masks, glasses, other face items.
• Neck items, shirts.
• Pants, shoes, hoverboards & other "flying items".
• Back and hand items.
• Suits.

To put down all your clothes, click on the orange button. To put on random clothes, click on the green button. (The buttons that are under your Chobot).
If you want to change a color, you need to use a color shower. The main color shower is at the Home Dome Shop (Also known as 'MakeYourOwnHouseShop'. You open the color shower, and choose a color. The color shower there costs 500 bugs to change a color one time. Also, in the house upgrades catalog, everyone can buy a color shower for their homes. There you will be able to change color for free. Also, there is another color shower in the citizens' HQ, it's also for free.

You can always ask someone with a color shower in their homes to invite you to change your color.
Around Chobots, you will find a lot of color trees. Here's what you need to do to color a tree:

1. Find a color tree with color balls near it.
2. Choose a color ball and click on it.
3. Aim on the tree and when the orange circle moves, click inside the target so it will be inside the white circle. X2

There are 3 graffiti walls around Chobots, so the artists can draw their amazing drawings! There is a wall for Citizens, which you can go to from the Cafe Street or from the Agents underground. There is a wall for agents, which you can go to from the Park or from the Citizens underground. There is also an Artists' wall, which you can go to from the Rope Street or the Space Quay. This wall is for people with paint brushes only. This is how the wall looks:

To start to draw, click on the eye. Then just change the color of the brush (1st button), brush size (2nd button), spread (3rd button), and opacity (4th button). When you finish your drawing, you can invite people to see it, or take a picture and post it on the forum.
In this game, there are pets too! You can adopt a pet at the Eco Shop. When you will walk in to the eco shop, you will see a guy with glasses on the left side of the room. He is Dr. Alan Chogreen. Click on him and the pet configurator will open. Then just design your pet, name it, and buy it. You need to care about your pet. You need to feed it, play with it, let it sleep. If you wont take care of your pet, it will run away. Citizens can take their pets out with them to walk with them around Chobots. Juniors will have to leave their pet at their homes.

Also, here's a cool trick. You can make your pet talk, if you write it's name before your text. Example: PET Hello everyone! . Your pet will say it.
Chobots got a levels system - The Cho Energy.
To earn Cho Energy, you need to play games. After completing a level in a game or winning in a game, you'll get an amount of 1-10 Cho Energy (Each game gives a different amount of Cho Energy).
Every level your Chobot will get a different title. Every 4 levels you will recieve a prize for your hard work. Here's a table with the title of each level and the prizes:

Juniors can get up to level 19, and Citizns can get up to level 60.
