Long time no post eh? Today, the staff list has been updated!
First of all, the former administrators are now directors. They are the heads of the game - a higher rank than an admin. The directors are Austin, George, Puffles, Trey.
Also, there is a new administrator! His name is Albert. Not much is known about him. We only know that he is the new administrator. I wonder who is he...


So that's everything for now. I'll keep you up-to-date about all the staff updates.

Hey Chobots,
Wow, we didn't post here for almost a week! This week was pretty boring. Nothing really happened.
So, first of all, an old build has been brought back, so the new user interface is back, and the search-a-user system is gone.

Personally, I think that the old user interface version 2.0 is better. It doesn't block a big part of the screen.
I hope that the search-a-user system will come back, it was very useful and easy to use.
In other news, 2 days ago (Tuesday), Star / Redapple visited Chobots. If you played Chobots.com, you may know her as Tovictory. She talked to the people that were in the Cafe Street, there were a lot of "OMG OMG, HIIIIII" between her and some people that she used to talk to them a lot back in Chobots.com . If you didn't know, she was the first Chobots.net designer.

So, that's everything for now. I hope that the next week will be more "exciting"...

Hey Chobots,
It's Thursday already. Time "flies" when you play on the computer a lot.
Anyways, the Chobots development team updated the game with some minor updates and a new feature.

1. Small buttons update. The Twitter button and the $hop bodies / chat bubbles button switched places.
2. The star that was on the Cho Energy button is now near the number of your level.
3. New feature. This is actually the same feature that Club Penguin (and maybe some other games) has in it. If you want to find someone, like a moderator, developer, agent, etc. And you want to open his player card, you can search him in the new system to open his player card. To use this feature, open your friends list, and click on the new button. You have to be level 19+ to use this feature. Search a name in the window that appeared and click on the ok button.

4. The text is back to the 'Dance' button.
5. The text is back to the 'Use' button.

So those are all the updates for now. Also, the Thriller contest winner should be posted soon (I hope).

Hey Chobots,
So, this post is for the Chobots.com people who miss the game - the old user interface is back!
Your probably thinking, what about the new stuff that were in the new user interface? They are still here.
If you don't know this user interface, here is a small guide:

1. Your Finance Report. The Number shows your current amount of bugs that you got. When you click on it, you can see your finance report.
2. Upgrade your status. The text shows your current status - Junior, Citizen, Agent, etc. If you click on it, you will see this month's Citizenship plans, and a linked button to the Citizenship page. If you are a citizen already, it will show how much days left until your Citizenship will expire.
3. Levels. The number shows your current level. When you click on it, a window opens that shows info about your level, how much Cho energy left for the next level, etc.
4. Messages. Someone sent you a message, read it.
5. Academy tips. The window explains about some cool facts on the earth.
6. Menu. In-game account management. Password change, account lock, quality change, etc.
7. Help. Need help with the game? Click on that button.
8. The map. Choose a location from the map to go to it, and explore around the world of Chobots.
9. Your backpack. If you bought any magic, it should be there.
10. News. All the upcoming events are there.
11. Dance. Want to dance at a party? Click on that button.
12. Chat box. If you want to send a message to someone, write it in the chat box, and then click on 'Enter' on your keyboard.
13. Safe Chat mode. Chat with people using a pictured chat.
14. Friends list. Add and meet friends on Chobots.
15. Emotes. Make a cool and funny emote to show how you feel.
16. Bodies button (I don't have the button, so I just added the number to the button location). Got a body from the $hop? Click on that button to change your body / chat bubble.
17. Twitter. Connect to your Twitter and send tweets in-game.
18. Home button. Teleport yourself to your home.
19. Family button. Got a family on Chobots? (Accounts from the same email), Click on that button to see your family.

Update: All the catalogs have been emptied from the rare items, and the Chobots team added some cool nice items for us. Some of them are Citizens only items that are now for everyone.

Hey Chobots,
Today the developers of Chobots performed a maintenance. It didn't take a lot of time.

After the maintenance, I found 2 nice updates.
There are 2 new items at the shop:
Spikey Hair:
 Status: Citizens Only.
 Color-change-able: No.
 Price: 3190 Bugs.

Paint Shirt:
 Status: For Everyone.
 Color-Change-Able: Yes.
 Price: 3000 Bugs.

This is more a menu-bar update. The menu bar at the top of the page got updated - A button linked to the official Chobots Twitter is added!

This could be easier to help people to go to the official Chobots Twitter page.

Day #4 - July 8, 2012.
Hello Chobots,
It's a new week already, the time goes fast no? Lets have a Chobots conversation about the stuff that happened today! First of all, how is your nature today? If you ask about my nature, so the answer is positive, as always. Today when I logged in, Vilt and Smileguy had a small and funny fight. Vilt was the father, Smileguy was the son. Vilt was mad and he took Smileguy's playstation, they talked about cheese, chicken, etc. Later, Smileguy decided to host a quiz, so most of the people that were at the Cafe Street joined the quiz. Vilt won the quiz, but Smileguy decided to let someone else win because he took his playstation. I'm surprised that Vilt didn't ground Smileguy, he was a very bad boy (there's no other explanation)  Later, I saw some people talking about other people cheating in robots. I just want to inform you, that if you don't have a proof, so there is no point
in telling a staff member about that issue. If you see two players playing together a lot, and their level is high, that doesn't mean that they are cheating. Anyways, we just hung out at the Cafe Street because there was nothing to do at the time. When Strawberry came online, some people asked her to rain. I always say that but, rain is not everything in this game. We can have fun even without rain. Begging for rain won't make it rain. If you spam for rain - you get chat banned. The rain is a "gift" from the staff member that "rains" it. It is only the staff member's choice to rain or not. So we hung out again at the Cafe street. When I came back from playing tennis, Chobots was down (for me, I don't know about the others) and after a while, I could log in again. A while later someone decided to have a party at the Cafe Street. The one who made the party did some magic, and we had fun :)) Then there was a maintenance, and that's how the day ended. Yep, Short post... Maybe because it was a little boring day. Also, if you didn't know, there is a new contest on the main blog, where you need to bake a food that includes Chobots - cookies, cake, etc.

As you know, it's July - a new month. That means that we need new journalists! If you don't know what is the journalist program, it's a program that awards bloggers around Chobots that got skills in blogging, posting, templates-creating, etc. Here are some frequently asked questions about the journalist program:

Q: What is a journalist?
A: A journalist is a chobot who is active on the Chobots community - Blogging about Chobots and posting on the forum.

Q: What do journalists get?
A: A journalist gets 5000 bugs every month on the 1st of the month. You will get an in-game badge at the bottom left of your player card that is linked with your blog. Also, your blog will be added to the official blogroll on the main blog.

Q: How can I be a journalist?
A: First of all, you need to be active on the Chobots community.

• You need to have a blog with nice graphics (header, template, etc.). You need to post your own content on your blog - not a copied content from somewhere else. You are free to use the main blog pictures to your posts.
• You need to be active on the community in-game too - help chobots in-game.
• You can also be active on the forum - comment on posts and make threads.

To be a journalist, you need to do atleast one of the mentioned things above.
I think that the idea for the journalists program is a wonderful idea. It could help young journalists to publish their amazing works. If you want to apply to be a journalist, comment here your blog link. Remember, you can apply only 1 time each month. Good luck to everyone.

Wow, this week goes fast, no? Jake added some cool updates to the game today:
The Chobots theme was blue. Now it's black/dark blue again. Here is the main page:

The servers select page design has been changed to his original design:

And of course, the map's background is also dark blue. Also, the forest has been removed from the map. I wonder why, maybe the development team plan to add something new.

Well, I remember this theme from the Chobots.com days. What about you? Also, the automatic connection is turned off, so when you log in, you can choose a server and a location.
The menu got another update; you can choose to turn on/off the day & light update. As you can see, it's still under constructions, so nothing will happen.

As you can see, some stuff moved because there's a new button.
Recently, Chobots got another sponsor! Another Club Penguin famous blogger is now sponsoring the game.

Remember the wardrobe shortcut? Jake added a cool new shortcut. If you are a Citizen, and you are level 10+, click on F4. The Color shower will open. Isn't that really comfortable? A wardrobe shortcut & a color shower shortcut!
This is more a player cards update. Remember that Jake's player card was purple? Well, now it's red!

I wonder what's the big story behind those player cards colors... I would like to have a colored player card, what about you?

Update:

1. When you hover with your mouse on the entrance to the Chill Zone, it will say 'Dudes' Chill Zone'.
2. The 'Chobots' background is now at the backgrounds catalog.

Day 4 - July 1, 2012.
Hey Chobots!
Welcome to Part 4 of the Journal. It's been quiet a strange day today, But first, Let's start of with this best news! Looks like you guys all like the "Journal" Vchobot1 is making! Here are the poll results:
44 of you liked it! Wow! Only 11 disliked, But I bet the dislikes will get better soon. As this Journal is a great success so far, I'm sure almost everyone will like it!
In other news, It's July! Looks like we have some new Citizenship! But at the moment, It just says that they are restocking! Can't wait to see what the new items are. The $hop is closed for restocking too.
Also, Some Rare items got added to the catalogs by a hacker! They have now been cleared back out by Jake, so anyone who bought, please make sure you sell them, as they were not meant to be there. People who will not sell the items, will get banned.
Some people might of got randomly chat banned for the strangest of things, For example saying "I can". But the chat filter is being fixed at the moment, so we could finally chat.
In Other news, William has been online more recently. He has been visiting Chobots again, and It's great to see him. He makes everyone mostly start to have quiet a good time if they are bored by doing what he does!
Also about the Citizenship, There is also some new Coming Soon Items! There is now a "Think Shirt" which is a colourisable shirt with a light bulb on!
The Chat filters are fixed. You can say words like "Hi" without getting chat banned.
Note: There are still some glitches with the chat filters, so people still get chat bans.
