News & Updates - June 12th: New Twitter Feature
Hi everyone!
Back when Chobots.net had first opened, we had a Twitter feature. This feature was a lot of fun and many users enjoyed using it. Unfortunately, it was taken away for some reason. Well, I am very excited to announce that we now have the Twitter button back and it is better than ever!

To use the Twitter feature, click on the little bird icon that appears under your help button if you are a Junior or under your Citizen short-cuts if you are a Citizen.

Once you have clicked the little bird icon, you will then be taken to a pop-up page. On this page you will need to enter your Chobots account username and password. After you have entered your account information, you will receive a link you need to click so you can use the feature.

Now you can send a tweet from Chobots! This is a wonderful feature because now you can just send a tweet from in-game rather than having to switch tabs between Twitter and Chobots.

Another fun thing about this Twitter feature is the ability to send a Tweet saying where you are on Chobots. If you click the little blue bird icon on your friend's list, it will send a tweet that looks like this:

Overall, the Twitter button is a great new addition to the Chobots world! Many users enjoy it and it can actually help you get more followers on Twitter. Be sure to log onto Chobots to try out this new feature yourself! Have a great day.

News & Updates - June 11th: Agents and Staff Changes
Hey Chobots,
Today, the community was changed quiet a bit. Two Agents were let go - Spencer and Bacon, and there is a new Moderator/Designer - Michael, formally known as Art. Michael has proven to not only to the Chobots community that he's capable of whipping up some fantastic designs, but to the Chobots Team.
Michael is known for many popular designs, such as the Spiked Wings and Rainbow Wings. I was able to catch up with Michael earlier today, and asked him a few questions; kind of like an interview. I hope this will help you learn a little bit more about Chobots' newest Moderator/Designer.
Mike: How did you find out about Chobots.net?
Michael: I first found out of Chobots.com by Mimo777 and once it closed, I played another game with friends from Chobots.com who soon introduced me to Chobots.net during private testing.
Mike: How did you come up with your old username - Art?
Michael: Well, I really wanted a new username because Cpfan didn't fit me anymore. At the time, I would always draw on the underground walls and when I asked people for suggestions--They said Art would fit me.
Mike: What motivates you to keep doing what you do on Chobots?
Michael: The people. Everyone on Chobots is so nice and friendly and I love being around them and helping them as much as I can.
Mike: Where do you see Chobots one year from now?
Michael: In one year, I think the Chobots population will double and there will be a lot more people having fun and chatting with eachother.
Be sure to welcome Michael to the Chobots Team, he truly deserves it!
Mike
News & Updates: June 8th
Hey Chobots!
You may have noticed some new updates, including the Testing Program. Well, if you've played .Net for awhile you might remember the Staff used to hold Testing Programs to test new features before they are opened to the public. This is just to make sure everything is performing correctly.

Yesterday the Staff opened up applications for Phase 6 for players to sign up, and after receiving many applications we now have ten testers. Here are the testers:
Daniel
Yaniv
Bitten
Ethan
Alexa
Anchor
Comebackiid
Destrotant
Grace
Mike
Mrsandbox
Swifter
Thomas
Vasa12345
Testers have to be very trust-able users and cannot share any information. Any Tester that shares information will be removed from the Testing Program and temporarily banned from Chobots.
Also, in other news today we had an Agents Meeting. We discussed suggestions, updates and feedback.
Have a great weekend,
Alexa

Fun Games to Play!
Greetings Chobots!
You have probably witnessed a friend complaining that they are bored. Or, maybe you're bored also and not quite sure what to do. Well, I have two games that are always a favorite to Chobots. Here's what you will need: Access to an underground wall, and some friends to play along. One game that is a favorite to play is Pictionary.

What is Pictionary? Well, Pictionary is a game where you have one person, or you can have more than one person drawing pictures while others try to guess what your picture is. Then, every time a person guesses correctly they receive a point. Tip: So the game does not last forever try to set a goal, like "First person to 5 points wins." Pictionary is always a favorite game since it is very simple, yet fun.
Another favorite game is a classic known as Hangman. You will again need access to the same things, an Underground and some friends to play along.

Hangman is a bit more complicated than Pictionary, but still very fun. For this game, you do not have any pictures. Instead, you draw the spaces showing what the word is. For instance, I chose the word "dog" so, I put three lines showing where each letter is to be placed. My friend guessed "a" which is not in this word, so I put that letter in red at the bottom and drew a head on my Hangman figure. Your hangman figure should be a simple stick-figure consisting of a head, body, two arms and two legs. Giving a total of 6 guesses. If the players guessed 6 times and the word is not fully revealed, you may re-start. Once a player guesses a letter correctly, you put the letter they have guessed in the same order it will be spelled. My friend guessed "O" which is correct, so it will be in the middle since the word is "dog" Try thinking of long, clever words or sentences that are hard to guess to make the game last longer.
Hope you enjoy,
Alexa

Interview With Smoochict
Hello Chobots,
Today I was given the privilege to interview a good friend of mine, Smoochict. You might know Smoochict as the guy who kind of "started it all" if you will. Considering the fact that he is one of the original co-founders of Chobots.net! While interviewing Smoochict, I got the chance to learn a little bit about him, and I hope you too will learn more about Chobots' very own Administrator: Daniel.
Mike: What inspired you to bring up Chobots.net?
Smoochict: I played the original Chobots servers and loved the game the instant I found it, a group was formed when we heard the news it was closing and here we are.
Mike: How did you come up with your username?
Smoochict: Smooch is one of my dogs puppies, sadly my dog passed away 6 months ago. ICT stands for Information Communication Technology, I've had the name for years.
Mike: Where do you see Chobots one year from now?
Smoochict: It's hard to tell where anything will lead, so I'm not quite sure how I can answer that question.
Mike: What do you think you would be doing now if you weren't involved with Chobots?
Smoochict: I'm not sure, probably working on a new project.
Well, after that that successful interview with Chobots' very own Administrator; Daniel, you hopefully got to know him a little bit more. I know I sure did!
Leave a comment recommending to us who you would like to see us interview next. The ChoHelp Team is always ready to provide the inside scoop to the Chobots community.

News & Updates: June 4th
Hello Chobots!
We've had quite a few changes for it only being the fourth day in June. Our first contest for the month of June is a Choboard competition. Choboard is a very fun game where you glide a Chobot and try to collect points and avoid obstacles.

So, head on over to the Game Zone and start earning points. You have until June 7th to race. Good luck!
In other news, we have had some major staff changes. Both Julia and Koiz left the Chobots Team. Both were amazing at their work, and decided to leave for personal reasons. However, Julia returned today and we're all very happy to have her back on the team.
Since Koiz left the team our one and only Yaniv was promoted to Manager! A huge congratulations to him.
That's all for now,
Alexa

June Updates: News & Updates - June 1st
Greetings Chobots!
Happy first day of June! And, with it being the first day of June we have some awesome new updates to kick off this month. First off, we have our June Citizenship items. These items are very summer themed and could help you win Fashion Shows, or just to have fun trying out lots of different summer outfit combinations.

The One Month package includes awesome swimwear for both boy's and girl's. The Six Month package includes an awesome Towel Board, Hawaiian Shirt, Tiki Mask plus a bonus Playercard Skin. The Twelve Month package includes both the One Month and Six Month items plus a Sailor Outfit, and very unique looking Chat Bubble. All of these packages are really awesome in my opinion. I really like the Twelve Month option since you receive everything plus some cool exclusives.
Also, in other news there is a new feature for your Wardrobe! Previously you may recall that when you clicked your wardrobe and it was not fully loaded it would be completely empty. Now, there is a new message that appears letting you know your wardrobe is loading.

I think this is an awesome new feature since many Chobots would think their wardrobe was completely empty, when really it had not finished loading.
Have a great weekend,
Alexa
