Greetings Chobots!

You have probably witnessed a friend complaining that they are bored. Or, maybe you're bored also and not quite sure what to do. Well, I have two games that are always a favorite to Chobots. Here's what you will need: Access to an underground wall, and some friends to play along. One game that is a favorite to play is Pictionary.


What is Pictionary? Well, Pictionary is a game where you have one person, or you can have more than one person drawing pictures while others try to guess what your picture is. Then, every time a person guesses correctly they receive a point. Tip: So the game does not last forever try to set a goal, like "First person to 5 points wins." Pictionary is always a favorite game since it is very simple, yet fun.

Another favorite game is a classic known as Hangman. You will again need access to the same things, an Underground and some friends to play along.


Hangman is a bit more complicated than Pictionary, but still very fun. For this game, you do not have any pictures. Instead, you draw the spaces showing what the word is. For instance, I chose the word "dog" so, I put three lines showing where each letter is to be placed. My friend guessed "a" which is not in this word, so I put that letter in red at the bottom and drew a head on my Hangman figure. Your hangman figure should be a simple stick-figure consisting of a head, body, two arms and two legs. Giving a total of 6 guesses. If the players guessed 6 times and the word is not fully revealed, you may re-start. Once a player guesses a letter correctly, you put the letter they have guessed in the same order it will be spelled. My friend guessed "O" which is correct, so it will be in the middle since the word is "dog" Try thinking of long, clever words or sentences that are hard to guess to make the game last longer.

Hello everyone!  I'm sure many of you have met Mike, one of our authors.  He is very active in the community, he's friendly, and he can be a bit crazy at times!  Well, tonight, Mike let me interview him.

Q. When did you first start playing Chobots and how did you hear about it? 

Hello,Chobots!

Well, I'm currently accepting any requested guides that are asked to be done, and one of them was a "guide to picking a username" requested by the official Chobots Twitter. So here it is! 

In picking a username there's a lot of aspects too look at, such as;

• Is it interesting?
• Is it memorable?
• Does it express you?
• Does it have a back story to it?

Let me explain

Is It Interesting?

Your name has to be interesting, not something dull and boring.For example, my name, MrSandbox is odd, not many people have a name with a title with it (Mr/Mrs/Miss) so it gives it a unique factor. Also 'Sandbox' is something alot of people wouldn't think of when picking a username. 


Is It Memorable?

Your name has to be memorable, people need to know who you are. They need to remember your name so it sticks in there head. For instance, the name 'Koiz' is very memorable. Even before she became a moderator everybody knew her, this was due to 2 things;

• She was a agent and had worked to get a good reputation
• She picked a interesting and memorable name

So in short, out of all the 4 things I think are needed. This is the most important. 


Does it express you?

This is a hard one to explain. Your name needs to express your personality, for instance, take my old friend 'Smileguy', Smileguy was a very kind and happy person. He was always smiling and always happy. So the name Smileguy expressed his personality perfectly.

Does It have a backstory to it?

Your name needs to have meaning, it needs to have a story. Take my name for instance, this is the story of how I got my name.

My Chobot's Username is MrSandbox. I got this name from a game I used to play called Counter Strike:Source there was a modification called Sandboxx. That's where I got my name from.

That explains how my name came to be. If somebody asks you why you picked that name, you need to know why.


So the above show you what it needs to have, but if your mind is completely blank, lets look at some other ways.

• Name your chobot after your pet.
• Name your Chobot after a Pokemon character
• Name your Chobot after a teddy bear
• Name your Chobot after a film character

A lot of chobots decide to name their Chobot after their pets. For instance, my friend Monty got his name from the name of his cat. 

Pokemon names are unique and will be original and un thought of. I currently use the name of a Pokemon as the name on a different website, 'Loki' is the name I use.

A lot of users decide to name their Chobot after a teddy bear they've had their whole life.This was my original intention, as my teddy bear was a snow man called 'Chilly' but the name had already been taken.

Naming your Chobot after a film character can be very effective. But do not go for a main character, go for a noticeable, yet not main Character. For instance, In the movie 'The Avengers' There are lots of main characters such as

• The Hulk
• Captain America
• Iron Man
• Thor

Yet there's characters who play a part that're noticeable, but not a main character such as

• Hawk
• Loki
• The Tesseract (Although it's not a character, it's a memorable object and completes one of the 4 tasks above)

So yeah, that's my guide to picking a username.

Hey Chobots!
I'm back, with another interview! Today I decided to interview our Journalist, Eggs! So let's start:

Hey Eggs! Thanks for giving up some time to let me interview you! So let's kick it off! So Eggs, how did you find out about Chobots?

Eggs: Well I was watching YouTube videos of Chobots.com, I clicked on a video and scrolled down to the comments part. I saw a comment by a user saying "Chobots is back! Chobots.net". I couldn't believe it, so I went to this link and found out that Chobots is back!

Haha! That is the randomest reason I've ever heard. Even though, it is still great that you found out about the game. So, who's your favorite Agent and why?

Eggs: Me of course. Haha I'm just joking. My favorite agent is probably Koiz (when she was one) She is so kind! But now I really can't decide who my favorite is.

I've gotta agree! Koiz was an amazing Agent. She worked very hard and look at her now; she is a manager! Moving on. Who is  your Chobots role-model?

Eggs: Guguzi, Definitely. She is such a kind Chobot and was one of the most artistic people.
I wish I could have met her once. 

Guguzi was amazing! And finally, Eggs. You've gotta tell us, what's your favorite Chobots-item?

Eggs: Ugh. This one is always hard. I think it has the be the egg suit, the paintbrush or the butterfly wings, Which I am lucky enough to have them all!

New Shop Items
There are a lot of new items - in the in-game shop and the premium shop! Let's take a look on the in-game shop items:

We got a Johnny Bravo hair style, a clown's hat, an egg suit and a cool pair of glasses!

Now, let's take a look on the premium shop items;

Wow, that's new, now there are Citizen only items there too - those are the old Citizenship items!
This time we got a Ice shard magic, Jetpack, a color changeable chopper, gold guy suit, pirate suit, griffon wings, court jester, scorpio, lolipop, Hawaiian lei, tv head, alien pet, star body, chlos body, TV agent body, ninja pet body, construction zone chat bubble, Turquoise chat bubble, a spring chat bubble, red, pink, and blue player cards. Awesome updates Chobots Team!

Also, if you didn't notice. There now commas at the bugs so you can work out the price easier!

Citizenship Items
In their news, there are new Citizenship items - the April Citizenship items! Check them out. You can see that there are many perks in each Citizenship pack. Take a look:
If you buy Citizenship in April, it can be very rewarding. I think that this time the 12-months Citizenship pack is the best! 1 suit, 2 magic items, 2 playercard skins and 2 chat bubbles! Whoa! Thanks Chobots team!

Ingame News Tab The in-game upcoming-events window has been updated. You can see the new events near their thumbnails that our blog admin - Yaniv, created. Also, the asteroid with the featured Chobot has been replaced and is now on the left side.
I'm looking forward to "Games Weekend" I think it'll be heaps of fun!!

Party Review
Well the April Fools Party is over, and it was a lot of fun! The moderators took trolling to a new level, an awesomer level! We first got trolled by having caps on permanently.

Then they decided to rain items that kicked you! Luckily enough, I'd seen this trick before and avoided being kicked.

There was a lot of magic, music and rain that didn't kick us at the party, and I'd like to say thanks to the Chobots Team for giving up their time to make a party for us! Here are some pictures of the party:

Howdy, Chobots!

It's me, Swifter! Recently, I was thinking that Chobots needs a new game, to keep the users entertained.
Here, at Chobots we have some really good games. But, I thought a brand-new game would make a fantastic addition to Chobots. I thought for a while, on what game would be super fun!

While I was dancing and having fun, I got the idea of a dancing game. But, then I was stuck on what sort of dancing game I would design. That's when I remembered the Dance Simulator games you can find in Arcades. So, I jumped on my computer, and started designing.

What's up! Kai here. Anyways, here are today's news & updates:
First of all, Zach created a new page - The Auction House.

In the auction house, you will see items, and you could place your bid (Chobots money / real money) to get it. When the auction will be over, and you'll be the one that placed the highest bid, you'll get the item, but you will have to pay!

Awesome right? If you want to go to the auctions house, place your bid and maybe win an awesome item, click here.

Second of all, the developers are searching for new city names. Jake made a post about it, and now there's a poll!

The names that are on the poll are: Jörch, Dynamite, Maple Tree, Mars, Moonlight, Oak City, Chocolate, Sunset and Scarecrow. I wonder what names will win.
